Tights: What is the new Black?

Black tights = perfect last minute glam zone, basic for school, autumn and evening. But what happens when you get tired of it all getting a little samesy? Simple - swap colours! Nothing too drastic for these ccasions of course, but it's not that difficult!

Brown!
Brown looks lovely on your pins - smooth, classy and smart! It is great for autumn, as brown is one of the staple colours of any year. An increased denier number is suitable for wearing them underneath your long coat at winter time. And of course, if it gets a little chilly in the warmer days, brown adds that sun kissed illusion at the first sight! It is great if you are pale, but will look good with any skin tone.

Navy!
No, I'm not talking about Rihanna's fan base. For those of you who don't keep up with... well, general knowledge, navy is the perfect shade of blue that is eye catching, yet reasonably calm, therefore suitable for sophisticated situations. Who knew such a simple colour change can make you stand out from the sea of black tights around you? If you have beautiful ebony or medium brown skin, this will be amazing for you. But again, anyone can look good wearing navy!
Even adding gentle pattern can still look smart.

Grey!
Grey is good if your whole outfit is black, and you don't fancy being mistaken for professor Snape... like it happened to me, but let's not ever talk about that. It works pretty well with jewel colours and tones. Anyway, this appears to be nice on everybody, BUT if you pick a very light grey, make sure your skirt is not too short, unless you want to end up looking like a 5 year old, when revealing our underwear was almost acceptable. Light Grey or white colour on your tights help to make you appear younger, but with a reasonable cut and length of skirt and great shoes, this one can be a trend-setter.
Long coats and tunics work great with
 these for winter time, too!
