Glasses? Why not!

Having glasses isn't all that bad - in fact, there are probably more advantages to it than you think!

• You can wear heavier, or more colourful, or more creative make-up! You don't have to, but if you like to play with your eyeshadow and pencil, go for it! It won't be too obvious behind the frames. jUst make sure you don't go way overboard.
• Frames! Everybody loves picking theirs. Cat-eye would be my pick. You might like geeky. Maybe small and rectangular. Maybe lacy pattern. If you can't get glamorous frames, or they are too expensive.. you can try decorating them with your nail polish - maybe add flowers at the side? 
• The glasses make your eyes look beautiful and bigger if you're farsighted! And sexy and smaller if you're nearsighted.
• Eye protection! Nuff said.
• They're fashionable. In fact, some fashion shoots and normal people now use fake glasses just to look like they have them.
• You'll look smart, instantly. I know it's cliche, but a good one!

Make-up ideas!

-While applying make-up, take your glasses off and on to check progress.

-So that your eyelashes don't annoyingly touch the glass, curl your lashes! Use an eye-lash curler, for example from Superdrug (own brand). If you use mascara, apply it AFTER using curler.

-Colour blocking for eyes: Pick any two colours of eye pencils. Let's say, green and purple. Put one colour on the lower lashline, and apply the other one along the lid! Can you see that colour pop? Cheesy, I know... This works great for girls with glasses, especially if your frames are a bit dull!

-Of course, if you do decide to have crazy eye make-up, go easy on the lips (soft lipgloss will do), and if you want, give your cheeks a flush of colour!

Hot new Frames

-Cat eye: Whether you're into the whole vintage thing or not, cat-eye frames make every girl look instantly glamurous! Meow.

-Rimless frames: These look really nice. To complement them, use mascara on the top or your lashes, and shimmery eyeshadow for a fresh look.

-Small rectangles: These were out of fashion... two years ago! Now the smart and classy look is back, so be fierce and look great!

-Tinted: This is more suitable for girls that don't wear glasses too often. Slightly tinted colour can look nice in the sun.
