Make-up Swaps for Winter! This for That!

Winter days are getting closer and closer, so we'll all be fishing at the back of our closets for those woolly jumpers very soon!
My point is, clothes change, so does make-up. And not just the colours and the looks - the products, too!

Lips:
Drop: Lipgloss
Pick up: Lip Stain + Lip Balm

Yup, lipgloss may be fun, but piling on layers and layers isn't gonna cut it - it might make your lips feel suckish. Instead, use a sweet scented lipbalm, which will add shine! If you're keen to have colourful lips, apply a lip stain, let it dry, and go over it with lip balm!

MeMeMe stain, £5.50 + Superdrug's lip balm tin, £0.99

Cheeks:
Drop: Powder blush
Pick up: Cream blush

Powder blush will look dull, chalky and cakey - especially on dry skin. That's why you should try a cream blush, which is ever so easy to apply (just dab on the cheek apples with finger, and blend circular way outwards). It will give you a fresh and sweet look.
Don't wanna spend cash on new blush? Take a bit of powder, and add some moisturizer to it and mix together!
MUA Cream Blusher, £2 each! Sweet.

Eyes:
Drop: Kohl liner
Pick up: Liquid eyeliner

Liquid eyeliners will hold much better throughout the cold weather, whereas kohl can smudge and disappear slowly. Liquid liners go great with shimmery eyeshadows too, which are on this season's it list!

Sleek Dip-It eyeliner, £4.49

Quick swaps:
  • Waterproof mascara - so that you won't end up with smudges, especially when it snows!
  • Winter colour nail polish - berry shades are so now, like fuchsia, wine red, and blueberry.
  • Sparkles! Eyeshadows, eyeliner, cheek shimmer, anything! Perfect for parties.
  • Metallic cream eyeshadows! Look good, even for school.
